Frequently Asked Questions

What is Community Acupuncture?

At a Community Acupuncture clinic, treatments take place in a large, quiet, and comfortable room, where multiple people are treated at the same time. Treatments take place either in a comfortable chair or on yoga mats or blankets. Patients do not disrobe but instead roll up their pants and shirtsleeves to their knees and elbows. Consultations with your practitioner are highly focused, and treatments last as long as you need.

What's the difference between Community Acupuncture and Acupuncture?

Community Acupuncture is a group acupuncture experience. Treatments are conducted in a group environment, with other patients receiving acupuncture next to you. Jiling conducts a focused assessment & treatment, moving efficiently from person to person. This affordable acupuncture opportunity builds community while effectively meeting your needs. Private acupuncture sessions are one hour treatments in a quiet room, with a complete health assessment, cupping, dietary/ lifestyle recommendations, and other modalities as needed.

How long does Community Acupuncture take?

The entire Community Acupuncture event may last from 1 - 2 hours. Your individual treatment should only take about 30 minutes. Stay for as long as your wish; you can leave whenever your treatment is complete.
